At the centre of our being is a quantum flower. It can only bloom when we give it our attention.
We might catch sight of its beautiful green leaves as we go about our busy day but more often than not we miss it. It is only when we take a few moments out of our routine to breathe and relax our shoulders, or take a walk in the park over a lunch break, or just sit for a few moments in the sun and feel his warmth upon our body, that we may become aware of this beautiful plant growing with vibrant green life force in our centre. But it will not flower until we dedicate some time to it.
So give yourself half an hour in a comfortable place and breathe. Consciously take in the air and visualise this as a bright clear light, let it move around your body and imagine that this is coming into the garden of your soul where it is nourishing the beautiful plant that is growing there.
The air is called Stillness.
Breathing in this air releases you from the busy schedule of all that is going on around you. Just by breathing the air into the garden of your soul you will keep your mind occupied on something more beautiful than the thoughts of the monkey mind. As you sit there breathing you will feel a stillness creep over you. It is subtle at first but then it will burst through your body like a waveform spreading out to your extremities and you feel your jaw relax and your mouth begins to smile. A smile is a more natural expression for our face, it uses fewer muscles than a frown.
The smile is called Peace.
You may find that you spend the full half hour just reaching this state of Peace, this is okay. Now that you have found it you will get here more easily next time. The more we do this, the more we discover that we can achieve this state of peace even when all around us is in turmoil. In fact the more tumultuous our life, the more valid this connection to peace becomes. It is about being in your inner space, your imminent space. No one can disturb you here as it is yours alone. In this state of peace we can focus upon the green vibrant leaves of the beautiful plant at our centre. When we give it our attention, we see that a stem is emerging from among the leaves the tip of which is swollen with a tight bud. It rises up from our centre and reaches our heart, here the bud swells and the stem grows stronger readying itself to take the weight of the flower. Your heart is attracting the bud like the warmth of the sun and gradually, as you watch, the bud begins to open, green sepals around the flower unfurl until the flower itself opens.
This opening of the flower is called Beauty.
You marvel at the beauty of this flower. How does it look to you? What colour is it? How does it shine in your heart-sun? Is there a scent? Spend time with this beautiful flower blooming now at your heart centre. Feel its beauty flow through you. As you watch you are aware of the pollen it releases, like sparkling stars filling the air in your imminent garden. With your next breath feel these stars flowing around and within your body. Move your body to receive this starlight more fully into your being. You are aware now that this flower is showing you your true state of being and as you release yourself to it so you feel blessed.
This state of being blessed is called Joy.
Joy filled blessings of this blossoming Spring be with you.
