2024 Time For Change

There is much work to be done this year. We, the human race, are on the cusp of change. It is time to step up and take hold of our own life. It is time to realise that the old ways are no longer working.

Yup. I am getting powerful messages coming through this year so I am just going to let this flow and see where it goes.

So, how do we do we step up and take hold of our life?
Firstly, this is about taking responsibility for our actions.
All of them. We can no longer go with the flow unless that flow is going where we consciously want to go. Doing something because we have always done it may be the root of a lot of issues we are battling. It’s time for a complete rethink of our life and direction. Let’s look at our habits, our routines, our diet, our exercise; a tweak here or there can make a big difference to our daily experience.
If that sounds like a lot of hard work, yes, it is, but it is worth it. We have returned to this Earth at this time for a reason. If we indulge in activities that take us away from our true purpose, we will encounter obstacles that prevent us from achieving anything well.

Secondly, we have to consider our thinking process.
The thoughts we have and the things we say and do have a great impact upon everything around us and on the world we live in. This is because our thoughts are energy and, since all material things are an energetic vibration, they are affected by the energy around them.
For example, when you have problems with your car or computer, do you swear at it? (I have been known to exchange a few words with my computer from time to time!) To carry this point further, what does the swearing do? Does it solve the problem and make the car or the computer do what we wanted? Of course not – and we weren’t really expecting it to. What we were really screaming at was our frustration with our life: time, worries, fears, deadlines – that is what is really making us yell.
Okay, so it is just an inanimate object made up of equally inanimate parts, one might say, and it doesn’t matter if we yell at it. But it is far more than that. When anything is made it takes on the energy of the intent behind its design and manufacture.
It begins life as a thought, an idea, a spark. Then it is designed and planned and thought out carefully. Next a prototype is made, the very first attempt at bringing this thought into the material world, this is then tweaked and tested until the idea is perfected. Now it can go into production and eventually it comes to work with you in all its happy machine-ness. This would be the ideal, anyway. Sadly, the producer of the dream may have cut corners, not followed the blueprint, used cheap parts that breakdown. The world as we currently create it is not ideal, after all. And maybe our awareness of this is another reason why we yell.
So, if you find yourself shouting at a machine take a step back and ask yourself why you are doing that. Is it because you bought cheap without checking the write ups and now you are paying the price? Is it because your should have booked a service but haven’t bothered? Is it because you have a deadline you know you did not make enough time for? Is it because you hate your job? Nine times out of ten the reason we yell at something is because we know, deep inside, that we could have prepared better.
You see something similar played out in on-line social networks such as Nextdoor where it manifests as sarcasm: “Could I thank the considerate person who……” well, this is unlikely to be followed by a compliment. It is just another form of yelling.
Whenever we have one of these session, we are adding to the sense of frustration and exasperation that is already far too prevalent in the world, we are making the energy around us worse, not just for us but for everyone.

So to recap: Taking responsibility for our actions is one thing we can all take on. But taking responsibility for our thoughts? This sounds a bit like thought policing! Thoughts come into our head in a flash, they are there before you can… well… think about them.

It’s time to try a different approach.
When everything seems to be going wrong, stop, breathe and change your thought pattern. After all, exasperation is doing you more harm than good. It will make your body tense, it will increase your blood pressure, it will cloud your judgement, and so on.
Acknowledge the root cause of your frustration and make a decision to address it. Then start appreciating that our car or computer is a complex machine, send it some nice thoughts and think nice things about it, appeal to it for its assistance (it has a spirit after all, anything made has a spirit). When we do this we change the energy around us and this affects the material objects near us. Then the miracle happens and the car or computer suddenly burst into life and do exactly what you want. Well, I have known it to happen! But I have usually had to promise to get the service done or clear the dust out or some such job that I have been putting off. Such a promise is an exchange of energy and it works but you must keep your promise.
It is the same with our bodies. When we get ill we often moan about our “stupid body” for not working. But pains, twitches and twinges are often the body’s way of flagging up information about something we need to change. Over the past couple of years I have discovered an intolerance of certain foods that I have eaten all my life but which my body can no longer handle. Cutting them out has made a huge difference to my health.

So, if we find ourselves yelling at something, or someone, or at our own self, it is a clear sign that we are unhappy or that the system we are using needs a rethink.
We need to sort this out.
And we need to do it this year.
Now.

Why this year?
Because we are coming to the end of a cycle and the energy is there for us to make changes that will work.
Most of us want to live in harmony with each other and with the planet. Life is much better when we can trust our neighbour, when we can chat with people without being criticised, when we can find a common ground and learn from each other.
Life is much better when our daily commute is a happy one, when our work place is somewhere we want to be, when our life feels meaningful and has a purpose, when the little things we do for each other are appreciated, when our boss tells us we are a valued part of the team.
So what is the sticking point, what is preventing this from happening?

We need to change the energy around us.
It is up to us at the roots to raise the vibration that we are putting out into the world. There is a groundswell of desire for tolerance, for empathy, for humanity to evolve into something we can be proud to be a part of. And the human race is evolving, we are becoming more sensitive to the energy around us. It’s the bad energy that makes us sick.
It is time to take notice of your inner voice. We all have one, the part of us that knows what we need to do but we keep putting off with excuses. How many times have I heard the inner voice telling me to sort through that pile of paperwork and ignored it only to discover that the piece of paper I was looking for had got caught up in the pile! The spirit world had been answering my question about finding the piece of paper but I had heard the answer with my teenage ears who translated it as my mother telling me to tidy my bedroom.

The inner voice is a quiet voice that we often drown out with noise and action. Yet it holds the key to change, to evolving, to becoming the person we came here to be.
The energy for change is all around us, let’s ride the vibrational wave this year.
Blessings of the wave be with you.
